Bimota by KRT stood out on the second day of private testing for the World Superbike Championship in Jerez. Their two riders were the fastest, with Alex Lowes leading.
The British rider completed his best of 83 laps in 1m38.355s, narrowly beating his teammate Axel Bassani by just three thousandths of a second. Jonathan Rea (Pata Prometeon Yamaha), who was the fastest the previous day, finished in third, 0.097s behind.
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki Puccetti) was fourth among the WSBK riders, followed by Sam Lowes (Elf Marc VDS/Ducati). BMW was only represented by their World Endurance Championship (EWC) riders, with Markus Reiterberger being the fastest.
MotoGP riders (Joan Mir and Johann Zarco on Honda bikes, according to GPOne.com), Moto2, and World Supersport riders also took to the track. The fastest in Supersport was Marcel Schrötter (Wepol/Ducati).
