Bihar’s huge Ramayana temple will be higher than Ram temple and Qutub Minar, know what will be the height?

Country’s tallest huge temple will be built in Bihar

East Champaran district of Bihar has become the center of discussion across the country these days. The proposed Virat Ramayana temple complex on Chakia-Kesaria road is in the headlines not only because of its grand size but also because of its height and religious importance. It is being claimed that this temple will be higher than the Ram Temple of Ayodhya and the historical Qutub Minar of Delhi in terms of height.

The huge Ramayana temple spread over an area of about 120 acres will be unprecedented from architectural and spiritual point of view. The height of the main peak of the temple is proposed to be 270 feet, which is considered to be the highest temple peak in the world. Apart from this, there will also be other peaks of 198, 180, 135 and 108 feet high in the temple complex. There will be a total of 12 grand peaks. The total length of the temple is said to be 1080 feet and width is 540 feet, which will include it among the largest religious complexes of the country in size.

Shivalinga will be established in Ramayana temple on 17th January

In comparison, while the Ram temple of Ayodhya is about 161 feet high including the spire, the height of Qutub Minar is 72.5 meters (about 238 feet). In such a situation, the 270 feet high Virat Ramayana temple will be taller than both these historical and religious structures.

According to Virat Ramayana Temple Trust, a grand ceremony will be organized on January 17 for the consecration of the world’s largest Shivalinga being established in the premises. On this occasion, saints, scholars, scholars and thousands of devotees are likely to arrive from across the country. On the same day, the Peetha-establishment of Sahasra Shivalinga will also be done, which will be done with classical rituals under the supervision of Pt. Bhavnath Jha.

Ram temple of Ayodhya

Ram temple built in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh is considered a symbol of Indian culture and faith. Spread over an area of approximately 2.7 acres, the total height of this grand temple is 161 feet including the peak. Built in Nagara style, this temple is a wonderful combination of modern technology and ancient architecture. In terms of height, it is included among the major temples of the country, although the proposed Virat Ramayana temple in Bihar will be much higher than this.

Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar, located in the Mehrauli area of Delhi, is one of the most famous historical structures of India and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Qutubuddin Aibak, the founder of Delhi Sultanate, started its construction in the year 1199, which was later completed by Iltutmish. This tower made of bricks is 72.5 meters (about 238 feet) high and is considered to be the tallest brick built tower in the world.

This five-storey tower has 379 winding stairs and Perso-Arabic inscriptions and geometric carvings can be seen on its surface. Despite historical, architectural and tourist importance, the proposed Virat Ramayana temple will surpass even Qutub Minar in terms of height.
