In protest against the objectionable remarks of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s late mother, the BJP has called for Bihar bandh and Chakka jam on 4 September. The BJP says that this is not only of Modi ji’s mother, but an insult to every mother and sister.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called for a Bihar bandh on 4 September in protest against the outrageous remarks of the Congress-RJD for the late mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bihar. According to sources, the closed will be between 7 am and 12 noon. The BJP says that this bandh will be celebrated in a peaceful manner in the entire state and there will be a blockage under it. This bandh will be led by Mahila Morcha.
The BJP state leadership announced on Tuesday that Prime Minister Modi’s abuses towards the mother would not be tolerated. The BJP alleges that the opposition has not only insulted the Prime Minister’s family, but has also insulted the culture and mother power of the country. The BJP says that in protest, a shutdown and flywheel will be blocked in the whole of Bihar.
BJP’s protest
The state BJP president said, “This case is not only an insult to Modi’s mother, but it is an insult to every mother, sister and daughter of Bihar. Whatever people do this are a threat to the society. So we are organizing a bandh in the entire Bihar on September 4, in which all traders, schools, colleges and public services will also be closed.” Vehicles will be stopped on all major roads and national highways during the flywheel jam. BJP workers will protest peacefully.
Prime Minister Modi’s emotional statement
Prime Minister Modi also broke his silence on this comment on Tuesday. He said, “I did not even imagine the insult that happened to my mother in Bihar a few days ago. It is not only my mother, but an insult to the mother-sisters and daughters of the whole country.” He further said, “My mother is no longer in this world, she is delayed. Yet the derogatory remark made on her hurts my heart a lot. I know that I have suffered as much as I am as much as I have been.”
Government and police security arrangements
The Bihar government has given instructions to maintain law and order during the bandh. Additional police forces have been deployed across the state to prevent any untoward incident. The police administration has also announced that the protesters will be allowed to protest peacefully, but strict action will be taken against those who disrupt law and order.
The political stir in Bihar has intensified. The BJP and its allies are united on the issue. Conversely, the opposition has not yet given any clear response to the matter. However, many opposition leaders are seen trying to avoid making it a political issue. Bihar bandh will affect business, education and daily daily life.
