According to the Meteorological Department report, heavy rains are expected at many places in Bihar from 30 August to 1 September. In addition, lightning is also expected to fall in many areas.

Light to moderate rains in many districts of Bihar may receive heavy rainfall in some places. Waterlogging and road traffic are expected to be affected in low -lying areas due to rain. The Meteorological Department has also issued information for the farmers that they have been advised to take additional water from their fields and take measures to protect crops.
Which districts will be affected
A warning of heavy rain has been issued since August 30 in Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria and Kishanganj in North Bihar. Heavy rains are also expected in Gaya, Aurangabad, Jamui and Nawada districts of South Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), waterlogging and floods may arise in low -lying areas due to rain. Also, due to the possibility of loss due to lightning, the Meteorological Department has appealed to people to be vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel and stay in safe places.
