EPIC number disturbances or anything else?
Tejashwi Yadav claimed that his new draft is not named in the voter list and his EPIC number has been changed. He described a separate EPIC number in the press conference, which made the matter entangled. EC’s answer is clear-There is no validity of the EPIC number mentioned in the represy conference. Officials said that in the official record, Tejashwi Yadav’s name is recorded at polling station number 204, serial number 416 located at Bihar Animal Sciences University, and his real EPIC number is Rab0456228. But the EPIC number Rab2916120 by Tejashwi in the press conference is not valid according to EC.

Why did the Election Commission ask for the original copy of the EPIC card?
The Election Commission has clarified that if an invalid or fake EPIC number is presented by a leader, it will be seriously investigated. This is the reason that photocopies and documents of the original EPIC card have been sought from Tejashwi Yadav so that verification can be done. This investigation also becomes necessary because this matter is directly related to the transparency and fairness of elections.
Was Tejashwi’s voter ID changed?
This secret is getting deeper… The question is whether it is a technical error, or has any political conspiracy? Was Tejashwi Yadav really out of the voter list, or are they just trying to take political advantage? EC has rejected Tejashwi’s claim, but now the ball is in Tejashwi’s court. If they do not submit the original EPIC card by 8 August, the matter may be more serious. This EPIC card dispute between Tejashwi Yadav and Election Commission can become a major political issue before the 2025 assembly elections. Now everyone’s eyes are on 8 August.
