The truck was loaded with grapes in large quantities. As soon as the vehicle fell into the river, the fruits got swept away in the water and spread far and wide. As soon as the news of the accident spread in the village, a large number of villagers reached the spot. Many people entered the river carrying clothes, sacks, buckets, baskets and bags. Some people stood waist deep in water and kept picking grapes. Children were seen eating grapes as well as collecting them. People sitting on the banks were seen cleaning and sorting grapes.
For some time the situation became such as if the grapes floating in the river were a part of a fair. Every person was trying to take as many grapes as possible with him.
