Bihar Politics: BJP allies a big shock before elections, three Muslim MLAs held this party’s hand – News Himachali News Himachali

As the Bihar assembly elections are getting closer, the process of changing the party of leaders has also intensified. Recently, three former MLAs have left their old party and joined the new party.

It is believed that these leaders are eyeing the ticket. Changing their teams has increased the concern of many current MLAs.

Mujahid Alam, who was an MLA on JDU ticket twice from Kochadhaman assembly constituency, joined RJD at the meeting of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav held in Sunderbari last month. He won as a JDU candidate in the 2014 by -election.

In the 2015 assembly elections too, he defeated AIMIM’s Akhtarul Imam. However, in the 2020 election, he lost to AIMIM’s expression by about 40 thousand votes. After this, he also tried to get a ticket for the Lok Sabha elections.

Opposition to Waqf Amendment Act

Mujahid Alam, who openly raised his voice against the Waqf Amendment Act, says that due to changing the situation, he had to break the 15 -year -old relationship with Nitish Kumar. Currently, Kochadhaman is the RJD MLA on the seat, in such a situation, the internal contest for the ticket has intensified.

Similarly, Kamarul Hoda, who became an MLA from Kishanganj Sadar seat on AIMIM ticket in the 2019 by -election, re -fielded in 2020 but remained in third place. After this he joined RJD and was made District President. However, recently he resigned citing personal reasons and held the Congress hand in Patna on September 2.

He was given the membership of the party by Congress state president Rajesh Kumar and senior leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan. During this, Congress MLA Izharul Hussain was also present. Kishanganj Sadar seat is already occupied by the Congress, so now two contenders have come out for the ticket here. The former MLA himself has said that if the party wants, they are ready to contest elections.

MLAs were made of SP

At the same time, Gopal Kumar Aggarwal, who became an MLA from Thakurganj on the Samajwadi Party (SP) ticket in 2005, recently joined JDU. In 2020, he contested as an independent candidate and finished second. At that time, Saud Alam of RJD defeated him by about 23 thousand votes.

After becoming an MLA from SP, Agarwal had earlier taken membership of JDU. JDU was a candidate in the 2010 election but lost to Naushad Alam of LJP. After this, he contested from LJP in 2015, but then JDU’s Naushad was defeated by Alam. Now he has once again returned to JDU. There is a possibility that if Thakurganj seat comes to JDU’s account, he will be a strong contender for the ticket.
