Bihar Special Bus Service 2025: Bihar Special Bus Service 2025 is going to start from 1 September. The Bihar government has announced a special facility for migrant workers, students and common passengers during the festive season. People returning to Bihar on big occasions like Durgapuja, Deepawali and Chhath Mahaparva will be able to escape from congestion and ticket problems. Special AC and deluxe buses of BSPTC will make long distance travel comfortable and safe.
From which cities will this special bus service start?
According to BSPTC AC Bus Bihar, this special bus service will be operated from major districts of Bihar Patna, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Gaya and Purnia. These buses will be taken to cities like Delhi, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Panchkula, Ambala, Chandigarh, Panipat, Siliguri and Kolkata.
Will these buses be really comfortable and inexpensive?
BSPTC officials say buses will be completely in AC and deluxe category. Given the long distance journey, it has been given priority to comfort, convenience and better experience for passengers. Apart from this, at the last minute, the ticket fight will also get rid of.

For the convenience of passengers, online booking of tickets will be available from 20 August 2025 on the official website of BSPTC on bsrtc.bihar.gov.in. With this, people will be able to plan to travel for their festivals while sitting at home.

BSPTC has released toll-free helpline number 1800-345-7251 for Bihar Festival Travel Bus service. Passengers can get any information or help by calling this number.

The government believes that this initiative will prove to be a big relief for migrant workers, students and common passengers. Its main objective is to make the journey between Bihar and other states more easy, safe and comfortable during the festive season.
Will this initiative be limited to festivals only?
Although this special bus service will operate daily from 1 September to 30 November 2025, this step is being considered as part of the migrant-friendly policy of the Bihar government.
