Bihar Elections 2025: These are the 25 candidates of AIMIM, Owaisi gave tickets to these 2 Hindus

AIMIM has released the first list of 25 candidates for Bihar elections 2025. Including 2 Hindu candidates in this is a big strategic step. This is an attempt to expand in Bihar by changing the party’s ‘Muslim centric’ image.

Patna: Asaduddin Owaisi’s party All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has created a stir in the state politics by releasing its first candidate list for the Bihar Assembly elections 2025. The biggest political ‘bomb’ in this list of total 25 candidates is giving tickets to two Hindu candidates, which is a bold step towards changing the ‘Muslim centric’ image of AIMIM till now.

AIMIM has fielded Rana Ranjit Singh from Dhaka seat of East Champaran and Manoj Kumar Das from Sikandra seat of Jamui. This is a clear indication that the party now wants to expand into the social fabric of Bihar, instead of limiting itself to the Muslim-dominated areas of Seemanchal. This is not the first time that AIMIM has fielded non-Muslim candidates, but this time its move is being considered very strategic.

Who are these two Hindu candidates?

Dhaka candidate Rana Ranjit Singh displayed a unique display of religious harmony during his nomination, which immediately made headlines. He tried to give the message of ‘Ganga-Jamuni’ culture by wearing Tilak on his forehead, Kalawa in his hand and Muslim cap on his head. Manoj Kumar Das, the candidate from Sikandra, has also been continuously active in his area and AIMIM is hopeful that he will be successful in solving the caste equations.
