Bihar Election: The names of 65 lakh people removed from the voter list will no longer join? Know when the final list | Bihar Voter List Final Update 65 Lakh Voters Missing Final List

65 Lakh Voters Missing in Bihar: More than 65 lakh names have been found missing from the voter list in Bihar. Now the chance to connect these names is over. The Election Commission will release the final voter list on 1 September. Know what is a new update?

Bihar Election 2025 Voter List Update: Before the election in Bihar, the draft voter list was released on 1 August as part of the special intensive revision (SIR) process of the voter list. There are no names of about 65.5 voters in this list. These are the people whose identity and residence related information has not been confirmed. For this, the Election Commission (ECI) had filled the prescribed form. Claims and objections on the voter list will be accepted by 1 September. Now that 25 days have passed in this process, according to Election Commission sources, there is no possibility of joining the final voter list of these 65 lakh ‘missing’ people. The figures of claims and objections received so far are indicating this. That is, the number of voters in the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar is scheduled to be less than 65 lakhs.

Final voter list will be released on 1 September

The names of more than 65 lakh voters in the final voter list to be prepared after SIR in Bihar can disappear forever. According to news agency ANI, Election Commission sources have said that this has come to light during special intensive revision. The final voter list is scheduled to be released on 1 September. The Commission says that if elections are held with the new voter list, the voting percentage will definitely increase. Out of more than 7.24 crore voters of the state, 7.17 crore people have submitted their forms and necessary documents. Earlier, 7.24 crore out of 7.89 crore voters had given information during the first phase of SIR.

Number of missing voters over 65 lakhs

About 65 lakh voters were missing in the draft voter list released on 1 August. Now this number may increase further. The missing voters include those who have died or who have moved and whose names are recorded in more than one place. The Commission is updating the voter list so that there is no disturbance in the elections. The Election Commission argues that updating the voter list will increase the voting percentage. Information was taken from voters from 24 June to 25 July under SIR. Sources in the Election Commission said that the number of missing voters in the final list released on 1 September could be more than 65 lakhs.

New voter cards will be made after final voter list

According to the data of the Commission, out of 65 lakh voters missing in Bihar so far, 22 lakh people have died (2.83 percent), 36 lakh people (4.59 percent) have permanently shifted or do not know their hideouts and there are seven lakh people (0.89 percent) whose names are registered in more than one place in the voter list. Sources said that after the final voter list is released, all the voters of Bihar will be given new election identity cards. These identity cards will have new pictures of voters. The old EPIC number will remain on the new voter card, but the name of the polling station can be changed. This is because the number of polling stations in the state has been increased for the convenience of voters.
