Bihar Election 2025: Jan Suraj released the list of 51 candidates, also gave tickets to eunuchs and actors. Jansuraaj Candidate List Announced For Bihar Chunav 2025

Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party has released the first list of 51 candidates for Bihar elections 2025. With emphasis on social balance, every class, eunuch and actor has also been included in it. The party will start the campaign from Raghopur from October 11.

As the dates of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 approach, political movements have intensified. While the NDA and the Grand Alliance are still locked in a tussle over seat sharing, Prashant Kishore’s (PK) Jan Suraj Party has made the first move. Jan Suraj released the list of its first 51 candidates, and this move has increased the pressure on the remaining parties.

Every class got a chance

An attempt has been made to give an open message of social balance in the first list of Jan Suraj. Out of 51 candidates, 17 are from extremely backward class, 11 are from backward class, about 9 are from minority and the rest are from general category. The party claims that on every seat such a face will be fielded which the people themselves want to choose and not which the party will impose. Important seats like Patna’s hot seat Kumhrar, Darbhanga, Manjhi, Sultanganj are included in the list.

Tickets for eunuchs and actors too

Kinnar and Bhojpuri actors have also been included in this list of Jansuraj. The party has given ticket to Bhojpuri singer and actor Ritesh Pandey from Karghar assembly seat of Rohtas district. This is the same seat from where Prashant Kishore himself was being speculated to contest the elections. The party has given the message of social inclusion by giving ticket to Preeti Kinnar from Bhore seat of Gopalganj district.

This step is being considered a symbol of diversity and inclusivity in politics. Jansuraj President Uday Singh said that the aim of the party is to give representation to every community and class. He said, “Our politics is not limited to just old leaders or traditional vote banks. We want people of every class, every identity to play their role in democracy.”

Jan Suraj’s election bugle will sound from Raghopur

Prashant Kishor himself will be present on this occasion and will “sound the conch” of the party’s mission. However, PK did not attend the press conference when the list was released.
