Bihar causes a lot of children, then why are voters being reduced? Pappu Yadav’s direct attack on Election Commission. Pappu Yadav Asks on Bihar Sir to Election Commission Bihar Chunav 2025

MP Pappu Yadav has questioned Bihar’s voter list. Despite the high population growth, he has sought an answer from the Election Commission on declining 47 lakh voters and described it as rigging and conspiracy of data.

Patna: The politics of Bihar assembly elections 2025 has been hot over the voter list. Independent MP from Purnia, Pappu Yadav has directly attacked the Election Commission. He asked that when Bihar is always ahead in population growth rate and millions of new people become adults every year, then how did millions of names come down in the voter list?

Bihari children produce a lot, then why less voters?

Pappu Yadav lashed out in the social media post and wrote, “We are infamous that we have the most children. Bihar is at the forefront of the population growth rate. But when it comes to the voter list, why is Bihar behind? What is this mathematics, which is difficult to understand?” He said that the Election Commission should clarify whether it is a manipulation of data or a conspiracy to cut the name from the voter list.

Comparison with Maharashtra

The MP questioned the voter list of Bihar and Maharashtra. He said that after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, 40 lakh new voters were added to Maharashtra in just four months, while in Bihar, 47 lakh voters decreased in the same period. Pappu Yadav said, “We are the top in the population, but we are behind the voter growth rate. What a contradiction is this? The people of Bihar want the answer.”

47 lakh voters missing, why out 83 lakhs?

The number of voters of Bihar has come down from 7.89 crores to 7.419 crore in the final voter list released after SIR (Systematic Intensive Revision). That is, about 47 lakh voters were out of the list. Pappu Yadav alleged that Bihar has a total adult population of more than 8.3 crore, but voters are only 7.4 crores. He asked, “Why is the remaining 83 lakh adult population not in the voter list? Did their families ever get a notice? Was them a chance to present their side?”

The MP also questioned how many Rohingya, Bangladeshi and infiltrators from Myanmar were involved in the voter list. He demanded the Election Commission to give Affidavit that no infiltration is now included in the voter list of Bihar. Pappu Yadav said, “If the commission is unable to do so, it should apologize to the country.” He alleged that the commission is working as a BJP agency and is being played with the public.

Democracy is being auctioned

Pappu Yadav called the SIR process a conspiracy against democracy. He said, “More than 90 lakh votes have been rigged in Bihar in the name of SIR. It is a game of auctioning democracy. The people of Bihar will not believe until the Election Commission is transparent.”

Pressure increased on Election Commission

This entire controversy has increased the heat in Bihar politics. Now the eyes are on the Election Commission whether it will answer the questions of Pappu Yadav with a booth -wise data or will remain silent. Prior to the assembly elections, this issue has intensified political stirring.
