As Bihar gears up for the first phase of its Assembly elections on 6th November 2025, voters across the state are being urged to confirm their polling booth locations to ensure a smooth and hassle-free voting experience.
The state’s elections will be held in two phases, with the second phase scheduled for 11th November and results expected to be announced later the same day.

To facilitate orderly voting and maintain safety, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has limited the number of voters per polling booth to 1,200, resulting in the establishment of 90,712 polling booths across Bihar. This adjustment means some voters may be assigned to new polling booths compared to previous elections.

- Relative’s name
- EPIC number (Voter ID card)
- Registered mobile number

In addition, district election offices have introduced a QR code initiative to make booth identification easier. During the Chhath festival, QR codes were displayed at various public locations, including river ghats, allowing voters to scan the code with their smartphones and access precise polling booth directions.

Some voters may encounter changes in booth assignments since previous elections. First-time voters or those who have recently moved should verify their booth details using their EPIC number or mobile number.
