The latest weekend episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 10 delivered an unexpected twist. Just when viewers thought Shalini’s journey had ended, Nagarjuna announced that she would enter a secret room instead of leaving the show. While the twist created drama, it also raised questions about the importance of audience voting.
Naresh’s Team Wins Dance Competition
The episode began with Nagarjuna saving Vamsi and Ram Prasad from elimination before dividing contestants into two teams led by Naresh and Ram Prasad.
In the dance competition, Vamsi defeated Rohit, Thrigun outperformed Shiva, Aman defeated Mukesh, Swetha Naidu surpassed Varshini, and Naresh defeated Ram Prasad.
Naresh’s team emerged victorious overall.
Nagarjuna also advised RK not to seek sympathy, referring to his earlier gesture of touching Shalini’s feet. He playfully teased Naresh about his interactions with Debjani and Dakshi. Although amusing, this romantic comedy track occasionally feels forced.
Ram Prasad Voted Star of the Week
Nagarjuna asked the housemates to identify the best-performing original contestant of the week.
Ram Prasad received the most votes, while Jhansi, Vamsi, Mukesh and Aman also received support.
His recognition was well deserved, considering his captaincy victory and consistent entertainment throughout the week.
Dakshi and RK Face Criticism, but Neetu Escapes
Next, original contestants were asked to identify the weakest wildcard performer.
Rohit, Shalini, Neetu, Ram Prasad, Naresh, Sudheer and Jhansi named Dakshi.
Mukesh, Varshini, Vamsi, Debjani and Aman selected RK.
Thrigun chose Neetu, criticizing her excessive focus on Shalini and himself rather than developing her own gameplay.
As a consequence of the voting, Nagarjuna imposed two weeks of direct nominations on the selected wildcard contestant.
The punishment raised questions about consistency, particularly because Neetu had escaped disciplinary action despite Nagarjuna previously confronting her over allegedly sharing outside information with Rohit.
Shalini Eliminated, Rohit Breaks Down
Eventually, Varshini and Shalini remained in the danger zone.
Mukesh predicted that Shalini would be eliminated, while Rohit expected Varshini to leave.

Just when Shalini’s journey appeared finished, Nagarjuna announced a birthday surprise: she would enter a secret room and remain in the competition.
The decision is likely to divide viewers.
Shalini has repeatedly faced elimination danger, and her gameplay has attracted criticism for excessive arguments and dependence on Rohit.
More importantly, Charan was eliminated through a house vote when Shalini was saved last week. Now, despite reaching the bottom again, Shalini receives another opportunity.
Secret rooms are an established Bigg Boss format, but their timing matters. When a contestant announced as eliminated is immediately retained, viewers may reasonably question how much influence their votes actually carry.
The twist may generate additional content, particularly around Rohit’s reaction and Shalini’s possible return. However, creating drama should not come at the expense of viewers’ confidence in the elimination process.
For viewers already exhausted by Shalini’s repetitive confrontations, the birthday surprise may feel less like a gift and more like an unwanted extension of her stay.
