Bigg Boss 20 contestant Scout, whose real name is Tanmay Singh, has opened up about his emotional outlook during a candid conversation with fellow contestant Mahhi Vij, revealing that he has never really experienced the feeling of missing someone.
In an upcoming episode of the reality show, Scout will be seen explaining to Mahhi that his upbringing and years spent in hostels have shaped the way he connects with people and experiences separation.
Scout attributed this to spending much of his growing-up years in hostels while being deeply involved in sports. Over time, he said, hostels began to feel like home, while his actual home started feeling like a hostel.
He reportedly told Mahhi that although he would do anything for his parents and the girl he likes, the emotion of missing someone is something he has never truly felt or understood.

Mahhi Vij has appeared in several music videos, including Tu and Tu Hai Wahi. She made her television debut as a supporting female lead in the 2006 series Akela and also appeared in the Malayalam film Aparichithan, alongside actor Mammootty.
She went on to play the lead role of Pratha in Shubh Kadam and gained wider recognition for portraying Nakusha in the television show Laagi Tujhse Lagan. Mahhi also participated in the fourth season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
In 2012, she and her former husband, Jay Bhanushali, participated in Nach Baliye 5 and emerged as winners. She later appeared in Balika Vadhu following its generation leap in 2016. After a nine-year hiatus, she returned to acting as Kausar Baig in Seher – Hone Ko Hai in December 2025.
The 20th edition of Bigg Boss began on September 6 and features 16 celebrity contestants, including MC Mary Kom, Kanika Mann, Mahhi Vij, Kushal Tanwar, Aman Gandhi, Isha Rikhi, Arishfa Khan, Qazi Touqeer, Asif Khan, Aamrapali Dubey, Rhiti Tiwari, Uditi Singh, Tanmay Singh aka ScoutOP, Yung DSA and Love Gill.
