Bigg Boss 19 began with much excitement as the grand premiere introduced 16 celebrity contestants who stepped inside the house. Among others, Shehbaz Badesha was expected to enter the show but could not qualify in the voting round ahead of the premiere.
Soon after the show’s comeback, fans were quick to notice an image of Shehbaz circulating online, where the singer was seen sitting in a room. This led many to believe that he had actually been placed in a secret room and might soon make a wild card entry into the show. Social media was filled with theories and excitement, with many speculating that Shehbaz would be revealed as part of a twist.
However, putting all rumours to rest, Shehbaz himself came forward and clarified the truth. In a video he posted on social media, Shehbaz said, “Hello, how are you all? You all gave me so much love when I came on stage. Everyone who voted for me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. For me, every single vote was like one lakh. The biggest thing is that I shared the stage with Salman sir. Nothing can be bigger than that for me in life.”
He also added, “I am not in any secret room. This is my secret room, I am sitting here. Whenever I get a chance to go inside, I promise you all that I will give you full entertainment. For those who are trolling or cursing me, I still love you. Whenever God gives me the chance to enter, I will make you feel proud.”
During the premiere night, the new season introduced a twist where fans got the chance to vote between two contestants to decide who would enter the house. The choice was between YouTuber Mridul Tiwari and Shehbaz Badesha. In the end, Mridul received more votes and became the 15th contestant to join the show, while Shehbaz had to exit.
