Bigg Boss 19 Episode 57 HIGHLIGHTS: Salman Khan hits RESTART; no elimination this week

New Delhi: The latest Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, was a perfect blend of emotions, bonding, and festive cheer. Kicking off the episode, Salman announced he’s “pressing the restart button today” after a heated week inside the house. Singer Jasmine Sandlas opened the show performing Kick’s title track, setting a lively tone for the evening.

The spotlight soon turned to Nehal and Baseer when Jasmine’s task led housemates to tease them as a possible “couple in love.” Things became more evident during singer Shaan’s fun segment “Tum Jo Kaho To”, where Nehal picked Baseer as the contestant she’d love to spend time with. Both blushed as the others teased, and Shaan later announced that there would be no elimination this week to mark Diwali celebrations.

The episode turned deeply emotional when Ayushmann revealed a Diwali surprise: gifts and messages from the contestants’ families. Shehbaz received a touching message from his sister Shehnaaz Gill, who said the Gill family is proud of him. Nehal got emotional seeing a video from her brother, while Farrhana broke down hearing her mother’s voice in a surprise message.

Celebrities Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui later joined virtually to promote their upcoming film. Ayushmann referred to Gaurav, Amaal, and Abhishek specifically as strong performers before introducing the task “Thamma ya Lappu,” where contestants picked who looked strong but acted weak.

The emotional high points came when housemates received gifts from home. Shehbaz received an encouraging message from his sister Shehnaaz Gill, and Nehal broke down upon seeing her brother’s video message, saying it made her “feel closer despite the distance.”

However, the light mood soon shifted when Farrhana expressed her wish to end her “situationship” with Nehal, telling Tanya she found their friendship a “bojh” (burden). Tanya added that Nehal had earlier called Farrhana “negative,” causing further tension.

Between blushes, tears, and confrontations, Weekend Ka Vaar perfectly summed up the rollercoaster emotions of Diwali week inside the Bigg Boss 19 house.
