What is happening in this campaign?
The following works are being given priority under the campaign: Improvement of errors in the Jamabandi register, onlineization of offline Jamabandi, succession nominations, partition nomination etc.
Performance so far in 38 districts
So far 7514 camps have been set up in 38 districts and more than 12 lakh applications have been received. Of these, the maximum applications are related to Jamabandi improvement, whose number is more than 9.13 lakhs. Apart from this, about 1.7 lakh applications have come to make offline Jamabandi online.
Aurangabad, Araria and Patna are at the top among the highest number of applications, while districts like Jehanabad, Sitamarhi and Shivhar have distributed the highest Jamabandi copies. So far, around 2.8 crore Jamabandi copies have been distributed.
What do the land owners have to do?
Those who have an error in documents related to land or till now their Jamabandi has not been recorded in the online records, they can apply by going to their panchayat level camps till September 20. At the time of application, the application will be registered through OTP on the applicant’s mobile, so that the process will remain transparent and trackable.
How to know the status of the application?
The state government has also ensured that the applicants will be able to get information about the status of their application by visiting ‘Bihar Bhumi Portal’ through their application number. Instructions have been given to all zonal officers to ensure entry-referred portal and Parimarjan Plus portal of at least 25 applications per day.
Campaign purpose
Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Deepak Kumar Singh said that the purpose of this campaign is to solve the problems related to the land at a fast pace. He also clarified that the application of any ryot in the camps would not be rejected.
