Paro was sometimes seen driving an expensive Thar SUV and sometimes roaming around on a Royal Enfield bike. In some videos, she was even seen kissing wads of currency notes and throwing them in the air. When these reels were investigated, it was revealed that Paro was not an ordinary maid, but the mistress of officer Gautam Kumar’s ‘anonymous’ wealth.

As soon as the investigation began to tighten its grip on Gautam Kumar, Paro and his family disappeared with illegal assets worth crores of rupees. After months of investigation, a case was registered against Gautam Kumar in April and he was suspended. Investigation has revealed benami property worth more than Rs 80 crore in his name in Patna, Kishanganj and Purnia. It has also come to light that Gautam Kumar was preparing to make his girlfriend contest elections with this money. His plan was to ‘buy’ Kishanganj assembly seat with the help of money and make his girlfriend MLA. After his retirement in 2030, he himself wanted to enter politics. Overall, the officer who had set out to build his political empire with corruption money has been dealt a major blow by his own maid.
