The Delhi government has taken a big decision for the families of frontline workers who lost their lives while performing their duties during the Covid-19 pandemic. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, while announcing that the assistance amount of ₹ 1 crore, which was pending for years, will be provided to the concerned families, said that the government stands strongly with those workers and their families who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the country and society.
Assistance amount pending for years is now released
A long-pending financial assistance amount of ₹1 crore has been provided to the families of frontline workers who lost their lives in the line of duty during the COVID-19 pandemic. This decision is being considered as a big relief for those families who were waiting for this assistance for a long time.
