Big news of April 3 morning: The surge in global oil prices due to the ongoing conflict between America, Israel and Iran has had a huge impact on the people of Pakistan. Due to this, the Government of Pakistan has announced an unprecedented increase in the prices of petroleum products. According to the new rates, the price of petrol has been increased by 43 percent and that of high-speed diesel by 55 percent, which is effective with immediate effect. The price of petrol has increased by Rs 137.23 per liter to Rs 458.41, while diesel has become costlier by Rs 184.49 per liter to reach Rs 520.35 per liter. Apart from this, the price of kerosene has also been increased by Rs 34.08 per liter.
