Nitish Kumar will become CM for the 10th time after JDU wins 85 seats in Bihar. Swearing in will take place on 20th November. BJP has chosen Samrat Chaudhary as the leader and Vijay Sinha as the deputy leader.

Patna: After the resounding victory in Bihar Assembly elections 2025, the power equation has become completely clear. In the JDU legislature party meeting held on Wednesday, Nitish Kumar was once again unanimously elected as the leader of the legislature party. While deciding its strategy, BJP has also chosen Samrat Chaudhary as the leader of the legislature party and Vijay Kumar Sinha as the deputy leader. Both the leaders had held the responsibility of Deputy CM in the previous government, hence it is almost certain that they will get a prominent role again.

Historic swearing in on 20th November, preparations intensified at Gandhi Maidan

Performing brilliantly in the elections, JDU has won a total of 85 seats. With this, it has been decided that Nitish Kumar will take oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 10th time on November 20. Patna’s Gandhi Maidan has been chosen for the swearing-in ceremony, where preparations are going on on a large scale. The Prime Minister, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of many states and senior leaders from across the country are likely to participate in the program. Sources reveal that Nitish Kumar will administer the oath to a deputy CM and a team of about 20 ministers. Meanwhile, there is news that Nitish Kumar can formally submit his resignation from his post today itself, after which the process of forming a new government will begin.

In the BJP Legislature Party meeting, Samrat Chaudhary was elected the leader of the Legislature Party. Whereas Vijay Kumar Sinha has been given the responsibility of deputy leader. Both the leaders have again got an important role in the party on the basis of strong social balance and organizational ability. Many faces from BJP quota are strong contenders to become ministers in the new government.
