India EU Free Trade Agreement: The Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and the European Union (EU), which was being negotiated for almost 18 years, has now finally reached its final stage. According to Commerce Secretary Rajesh Aggarwal, India and EU have completed negotiations on this big trade agreement and today the leaders of both the sides will formally announce it.
This is also special because this agreement is not limited to just trade, but it includes many important aspects like goods, services, investment and supply chain. This is being considered as a new chapter in the relations between India and Europe.
