Big blow to Naxalism in Madhya Pradesh: 10 Naxalites surrender before Chief Minister in Balaghat

10 Naxalites surrendered before Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in Balaghat. The government guaranteed rehabilitation, security and development. Anti-Naxal campaign has been strengthened with new camps, increased force and employment efforts. Naxalite scope is continuously decreasing.

Bhopal. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a major achievement was achieved on Sunday in the direction of ending Naxalism. 10 Naxalites surrendered in Balaghat, including 4 women Naxalites. The Chief Minister connected him to the mainstream of the society by giving him a copy of the Constitution. All the Naxalites handed over their weapons to the Chief Minister.

‘Government’s commitment to make the state Naxal free’

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that as per the target set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the government is determined to make Madhya Pradesh completely Naxal-free. He clearly said that no person is allowed to take up arms and advised the Naxalites to adopt rehabilitation policy. The government is making every possible effort to secure their lives, ensure development and connect them with the society.

Anti Naxal campaign is being continuously strengthened

The Chief Minister said that 15 new temporary camps and 882 posts of special support squad have been sanctioned in the state. Due to continuous monitoring, investigation and continuous actions, Naxalite activities have reduced rapidly. Last year, 46 single facility centers were started in Naxal affected areas for rehabilitation. Employment, forest rights certificate and other essential services are being provided from these centres.

Salute to martyr Ashish Sharma, out of turn promotion to 328 policemen

Paying tribute to martyr Ashish Sharma, the Chief Minister said that 328 Hawk Force and police officers who did excellent work in the line of duty have been given out-of-turn promotions. He said that it is the responsibility of the government to rehabilitate those who adopt the path of law.

DGP Kailash Makwana: ‘Naxal dedication is continuously increasing’

DGP Kailash Makwana said that the anti-Naxal campaign has been strengthened under the leadership of the Chief Minister. New camps have been built, the police force has been increased and the soldiers are being continuously encouraged. Its positive results have emerged and Naxal dedication has increased in neighboring states including Madhya Pradesh. Through employment and skill development efforts, significant progress has been made in connecting the youth of Naxal affected areas with the mainstream.
