This is the first trading window of IPL 2026 auction to open. Under which Chennai Super Kings is working on making major changes in its team. According to reports, she wants to include Sanju Samson of Rajasthan Royals in her team. For which he is ready to leave Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran. However, Chennai Super Kings is eyeing not only Sanju Samson but also a player from Gujarat Titans, from where they have got a big shock.

Chennai Super Kings is now working on building a team keeping the future in mind. Somewhere before MS Dhoni retires, he is going to build a strong team. For which he was also going to make a big deal with Gujarat Titans. According to media reports, CSK team wanted to make Gujarat Titans’ star all-rounder Washington Sundar its part under the trading window. But Gujarat Titans have rejected this offer of CSK.

Washington Sundar’s recent performance has been quite good. He is playing in all three formats for the Indian team. His record in IPL also is good. After being released by Sunrisers Hyderabad, he was signed by Titans for Rs 3.2 crore in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction and he is in no mood to leave them now. Let us tell you, Sundar started his IPL career in 2017 with Rising Pune Supergiant and then spent the next four years with Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bangalore). Then he used to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Washington Sundar’s performance in IPL

Washington Sundar has played 66 matches in IPL so far. During this period, he has taken 39 wickets while spending runs at an economy of 7.69. The special thing is that he can bowl in powerplay. Whereas, if we talk about batting, he has scored 511 runs so far. Last season was very good for him with the bat, he managed to score 133 runs in 5 innings. He scored these runs at a strike rate of 166.25.
