Priority to increase the number of youth and women voters

In the meeting, Rinwa especially insisted on increasing the number of young voters and women voters aged 18-19 years. He said that the number of voters of this age group in Ayodhya district is only 1% in the total voters, whereas it should be 4 to 4.5%. For this, the youth were identified and instructed to be added to the voter list with the help of colleges, universities and teachers.

Special facility for disabled and senior voters

Rinwa said that disabled voters should be identified in the database so that they can demand facilities like wheelchair at the time of election through the competent mobile app. Also, 100 percent verification of voters above 83 years of age will be done so that in the 2027 elections, proper assessment can be made to give the right to vote sitting at home.

New standard of 1200 voters at polling sites

The Election Commission of India has reduced the number of voters per polling from 1500 to 1200 per polling. This will reduce crowds and long queues at polling stations and voters will be able to vote easily.

Instructions to ensure minimum facilities

The Chief Electoral Officer said that facilities like toilets, clean water, electricity, adequate furniture and ramps should be provided at the polling sites. He informed that these facilities are available at 99% polling stations in the district and the remaining will be completed soon.
