Actor and creator Bhuvan Bam is set to return with the second season of his popular show ‘Dhindora’, which will premiere on Netflix on November 20.
Produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam, the new season will follow the lovable Titu Mama as he tries to make peace with his in-laws, setting off a fresh series of chaotic events.
The first season of ‘Dhindora’ helped establish creator-led storytelling in India, with Bam portraying multiple characters in an interconnected fictional universe.
Speaking about the new season, Bam said, “Dhindora began on as a chaotic, and deeply relatable world, and Season 2 takes that heart and humour to a much bigger canvas.”
He added, “Bringing it to Netflix lets us share these characters with a wider audience without losing the cultural specificity that made the show feel like home. I’m so excited for long-time fans and new viewers to dive into this next chapter.”
Tanya Bami, Series Head, Netflix India, said the new season would feature Titu Mama, Babloo ji, Janki, Sameer and Bancho, along with the other characters portrayed by Bam. She said the eight-episode series would bring together the fan-favourite tones and humour associated with BB Ki Vines.
Bami also highlighted Bam’s versatility as an actor, noting that he plays nine characters in the series. ‘Dhindora 2’ returns after a gap of five years and will premiere exclusively on Netflix on November 20.
