Sandhya Chhaya Old Age Home Inauguration: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the old age home ‘Sandhya Chhaya’ in Bhopal. During this he interacted with the elders. CM transferred Rs 327.15 crore to 54.52 lakh pension beneficiaries.
CM Mohan Yadav Inaugurates Old Age Home: A big and comforting initiative for senior citizens was seen in Bhopal today. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the newly constructed paid old age home ‘Sandhya Chhaya’ in the capital. This ‘Old Age Home’ has been built on PPP mode and an attempt has been made to provide a family-like environment to the elderly living here. After the inauguration, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the old age home and saw closely the facilities available there. During this, he greeted a couple living here and also talked to them. The Chief Minister met the elders to know about their well-being and heard their experiences. This fully equipped old age home has been prepared by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities at Journalist Colony Link Road No. 3, where all necessary arrangements have been made keeping in mind the needs of senior citizens.
Chief Minister met artists at Divyangjan Sparsh Mela-2026
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also participated in the state level Divyangjan Sparsh Mela-2026. In this fair, he visited the exhibition of disabled artists who came from different districts of the state. The Chief Minister interacted directly with the artists, appreciated their work and also encouraged them to move forward. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the disabled people have amazing intellectual abilities and the state government is making continuous efforts to advance them at every level.
Gift of Rs 327.15 crore to pension beneficiaries
During the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also gave a big gift under the Social Security Pension Scheme. He transferred an amount of more than Rs 327.15 crore to more than 54.52 lakh pension beneficiaries with a single click. This step has directly benefited lakhs of elderly, disabled and needy people. The Chief Minister said that the government is trying to ensure that the money from the schemes reaches the beneficiaries on time and without any hassle.
Government’s aim is to serve the elderly and strengthen the disabled.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that development does not just mean building roads, buildings and bridges. A developed society is one where every class gets a safe and respectable life. He clearly said that it is the biggest responsibility of the state government to take care of the weak and needy sections of the society. The Chief Minister said that with the aim of providing a family-like environment to the senior citizens in the capital, this fully equipped paid senior citizens’ residence has been started through Seva Bharti. Also, the state government has promoted the establishment of old age homes by connecting the society.
Better facilities for the elderly in ‘Sandhya Chhaya’
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is continuously progressing in every field. Today, sensitivity and human feelings are getting full respect in governance. The Chief Minister said that the ‘Sandhya Chhaya’ old age home inaugurated today is equipped with better facilities for the elderly, where they will get a safe, respectful and peaceful environment. This initiative also gives a positive message to the society.
