Bharti Singh’s father had this disease

Even today there is a picture of him at home, but I do not recognize him. He is a stranger for me. I tell my mother to take the picture of Papa. They do not make fun of me, but they used to pity me. The teachers used to separate us on the basis of whose father and not, because the children who did not have their father were given school books. I did not know what a father is, I used to hear my friends talking about my father. I learned that the father is tough and brings gifts. All this did not happen to me, so I used to think I was separate. ‘
