Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who reached Gujarat during Bharat Parv 2025, paid tribute to Sardar Patel. He said that Gujarat is the land that gives direction to India and the Statue of Unity has become a symbol of India’s unity under the vision of PM Modi.
Ekta Nagar (Gujarat). Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Gujarat has always been a state that gives direction to India. Lord Shri Krishna came from Uttar Pradesh and became the ruler of Dwarka on this land and carried forward the establishment of religion. Swami Dayanand Saraswati started the Arya Samaj movement from here. This land has been the birthplace of great personalities like Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Gujarat is the holy land of Lord Somnath and Nageshwar Nath, which gave rise to the spirit of self-reliance among the indigenous people.
Yogi Adityanath participated in Bharat Parv 2025
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Gujarat’s Ekta Nagar on Wednesday, where he participated in the Bharat Parv 2025 organized to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel. He enjoyed the cultural programs and reached the Statue of Unity and paid his respects to the Iron Man Sardar Patel.
Statue of Unity: Symbol of India’s unity
The Chief Minister said he had the opportunity to visit the Statue of Unity in 2018, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated it to the nation. Today this place has become a major center of world tourism. This statue is a symbol of the unity of India and the result of the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi. He said that India is now honoring the legacy of its great men and making it a source of inspiration for future generations.
Prime Minister Modi’s vision of developed India
CM Yogi said that Prime Minister Modi has set the goal of a developed India by enhancing the tradition of heritage, development and poor welfare. He said that projects like Kashi Vishwanath Dham, the grand Ram temple of Ayodhya, reconstruction of Kedarnath-Badrinath and Mahakal Lok showcase the spiritual and cultural strength of India. Yogi told that every year 11 to 12 crore devotees come to Kashi, whereas six to eight crore people come to Ayodhya for darshan.
Sardar Patel: Architect of India’s integrity
The Chief Minister said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel laid the foundation of India’s integrity. The British did not want India to remain united, but with his foresight, Sardar Patel created ‘One India’ by including 563 princely states in the Republic of India. Today, Prime Minister Modi is carrying forward the same tradition and making India ‘Shreshtha Bharat’.
New India does not compromise on security and sovereignty
CM Yogi said that princely states like Junagadh and Hyderabad were firmly integrated into India by Sardar Patel. He said that the new India no longer compromises with its security, sovereignty and integrity. Whoever challenges the unity of India will definitely get a reply. The country has seen this clearly in the last 11 years.
India’s diversity seen in Bharat Parv
In Bharat Parv 2025, artists from states like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya enthralled the audience with folk dance and cultural presentations. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appreciated all the artists and encouraged them.
CM Yogi inspected the pavilions
CM Yogi visited the exhibition stalls of various states including Bharat Darshan Pavilion and Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department. Local artists welcomed him with traditional dance. At the Statue of Unity complex, people welcomed the CM with slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Jai Shri Ram’. He also recorded his experiences in the visitors’ book and enjoyed the beautiful view of the Narmada River.
