Which bank organizations have come forward for strike?
Major bank organizations of the country such as All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA), and Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) have called on their members and units to join the national strike to be held on 12 February 2026. Along with this, 10 Central Trade Unions (CTUs) have also asked their employees to join the strike. The main reason for the strike is to protest against the four new Labor Codes issued by the government in November and the ‘increasing attacks on the working class’.
