According to historians, this temple is about 500 years old. It was started by a businessman named Bhanda Shah in the year 1468. But he died before the temple was completed. After the death of Bhand Shah, his daughter took responsibility for fulfilling the temple. This temple was completed in the year 1541. The name of this temple was named Bhandashah due to construction by Bhandashah Jain. It is said that about 40 thousand kg was used to fill the foundation of Bhandashah Jain temple.
