At a time when the central government is pushing for restructuring of the defense forces, the Indian Army has undertaken one of the biggest transformations ever to meet the challenges of modern warfare. Yes, the Army has fielded a force of over one lakh drone operators. Bhairav, the latest special force raised by the Indian Army, is ready to tackle the challenges of modern warfare, as all operators are capable of handling drones and using them in actual operations to target positions and troops located in enemy territory. ANI team visited one of the newly formed Bhairav battalions in the desert area under the Southern Command, where as per the requirements of modern warfare. Special training is being imparted. Raised by the Army Headquarters by learning from global and its own conflicts, the objective of Bhairav Battalion is to provide a dedicated force to conduct offensive operations at a rapid pace, to carry out special forces operations at various levels as per requirement.Bhairav Battalion
