Chocolate Dish Recipe
The holy festival of Bhai Dooj is being celebrated this year on 23 October, which is celebrated on the third day of Diwali. It is known by different names in different parts of India, such as ‘Bhau Beej’ in Maharashtra, ‘Bhai Fonta’ in West Bengal and ‘Bhai Tika’ in some places. On this day, sisters apply Tilak to their brother and wish him a long, happy and successful life, while the wife also gives gifts to her sisters and promises to protect them. This festival is almost like Rakhi, which makes the relationship between every brother and sister even stronger.
When Bhai comes to his sister’s house on the day of Dooj, the sister applies tilak on his forehead, performs aarti and feeds him sweets. But during the festive season, most people get bored of eating sweets. In such a situation, you can make some things for your brother with the help of chocolate.
Chocolate Truffles
Ingredients – To make chocolate truffles, you need 200 grams dark chocolate, 100 ml fresh cream, 1 tablespoon butter, some cocoa powder, dry fruits as required, chocolate chips.
Make like this – Cut the dark chocolate into small pieces, so that it can melt easily. Now heat fresh cream in a pan on low flame, keep in mind that the cream should not be boiled, just heated. Now add chopped chocolate to hot cream and keep covered for 1 to 2 minutes. Then mix slowly and let the chocolate dissolve completely in the cream. Now add butter to it and make a smooth paste. Now take it out in a bowl and keep it in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours to harden a little. Make small balls from this paste. Apply some cocoa powder or butter on your hands so that it does not stick. Coat each truffle in cocoa powder, if you wish, finish by dipping it in melted chocolate. Place the truffles in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator. If you wish, you can also fill finely chopped dry fruits inside.

Chocolate Barfi
Ingredients- 2 cups mawa/khoya, sugar as per taste, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 1 tbsp ghee, milk, finely chopped dry fruits
Method of preparation-To make chocolate barfi, first of all heat ghee in a pan. Fry it on low flame while stirring continuously until its color becomes light golden and aromatic. Now add sugar to it and mix. The paste may be a little loose because the sugar will melt. When the paste starts becoming a little thick, add cocoa powder and mix well. If needed, you can also add some milk, so that the mixture becomes smooth. As soon as the paste starts leaving the pan, take it out in a greased tray or plate and spread it. Sprinkle chopped dry fruits on top and press lightly. When it cools down a bit, cut it into barfi shapes.
