Actress Bhagyashree, currently in the scenic climes of Manali, Himachal Pradesh, has offered a timely winter wellness tip, particularly for those bracing for colder temperatures.
Through her popular ‘Tuesday Tips’ series on Instagram, the ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ star emphasized the importance of internal nourishment during the chilly season.
Highlighting the benefits of almonds and walnuts, Bhagyashree explained that these nuts are rich in antioxidants, boost immunity, and help maintain skin moisture from within. She noted that as temperatures drop, especially after sunset in places like Manali, the body naturally seeks warmth.
Her special recipe for a warming drink involves soaking two to three cashews, two to three walnuts, and some halim seeds in water for two to three hours. After soaking, these ingredients are lightly ground. Cardamom and saffron are then added, and the mixture is boiled with regular or plant-based milk. Bhagyashree recommends consuming this drink warm.
She further elaborated on the nutritional value of halim seeds, stating they are packed with vitamins A, C, E, calcium, iron, and folic acid. This combination of nuts, seeds, and spices, she suggests, can be a simple yet effective daily addition to one’s winter routine, helping to combat seasonal cold and dryness naturally. This practical advice resonates with many seeking traditional ways to stay healthy during winter.
