Ahead of its release, Baaghi 4 was certified with an ‘A’ rating by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The board, which cleared the actioner on August 26, reportedly mandated 23 visual and audio cuts, including violent and sexual scenes.
Several dialogues were also muted or replaced for objectionable language. Following the certification, the film underwent voluntary changes, bringing its runtime to 2 hours 37 minutes and 5 seconds.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the Examining Committee (EC) required 23 visual and audio cuts.
Scenes showing the hero standing on a coffin and lighting a cigarette from a ‘niranjan diya’ were removed. The EC also asked the makers to replace a scene showing a hand rubbing a girl’s hip and to hide a nude scene. A shot in which an amputated hand was used to light a cigarette was also deleted.
Additionally, two shots featuring a statue of Jesus Christ were cut. Extremely violent scenes, including those showing throats being slit, hands being cut, and goons being killed with swords, were also removed.
The board also asked the makers to mute or replace words and phrases such as “bhang b*****a,” “fingering,” “condom,” and more.

The fourth instalment in Tiger Shroff and Sajid Nadiadwala’s action franchise also stars Sanjay Dutt in a pivotal role. Actresses Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa will be seen as the female leads.
Directed by A. Harsha, it is being touted as the darkest film in the series so far. While its trailer and teaser have received mixed reactions, the final verdict will be out tomorrow.
