In a shocking incident of road rage, a man was dragged on the bonnet of a speeding car in broad daylight on 11th February 2026 at around 12:45 pm on Old Airport Road in Bengaluru. The disturbing incident caught on camera shows a Maruti Suzuki XL6 speeding recklessly while a man desperately clings to the bonnet, screaming and pleading for the driver to stop. Eyewitnesses said that the driver increased the speed of the vehicle without caring about the life of the person, which put not only the life of the person in the vehicle but also the lives of other passengers on that busy road in danger.
The incident has sparked outrage on social media and raised serious concerns over road safety and the growing menace of aggressive driving in Bengaluru.

Previous crimes and violations of the accused driver
Upon investigation, officials revealed that the driver was allegedly a repeat offender in cases related to reckless driving. Further investigation also revealed that the vehicle had expired insurance, which is a violation of the Motor Vehicles Act. Driving without valid insurance, coupled with repeated reckless driving, shows gross negligence and a clear lack of accountability.
Bengaluru Police action and legal proceedings
According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Eastern Division, Bengaluru City, a case has been registered against the driver and further investigation is underway.
The DCP stressed: “Strict legal action will be taken against aggressive driving. Any incident of road rage will lead to an FIR and strict legal action will be taken. Drive responsibly and behave like humans. Zero tolerance against crime.”
