An MBA graduate girl in Bengaluru committed suicide because an astrologer had predicted her fiance’s age to be young. To remove this ‘defect’, a puja was going on for 9 days. After the puja on the 8th day, the girl went to her room and hanged herself.
Bengaluru: An astrologer predicted a short life for someone who was about to get married after a long affair. A girl was so upset by this that she committed suicide. The matter is related to M.E.I of Bengaluru. Is of layout. 27 year old Vidyajyoti, who lived here, committed suicide by hanging herself. Vidyajyoti was an MBA graduate.
According to the information received from the police, Vidyajyoti was in a relationship with a boy for a long time, who belonged to another caste. At first the family members were not ready for this marriage, but later they agreed. However, the family members put a condition of matching horoscopes before marriage.
When the horoscopes of both were shown to an astrologer, he told that the boy’s age is short (short life). As a remedy for this defect, the astrologer advised to perform a special puja lasting for 9 days. The family had also started this puja.
It was the eighth day of puja. After the puja was over in the evening, Vidyajyoti went to her room and closed the door from inside. When she did not come out for a long time, the family members called out. When he got no response he broke the door. Inside, Vidya Jyoti was found hanging from the fan. The family is in shock after the incident. Police have registered the case and started investigation.
