Bengal T20 League 2026: Howrah Warriors win Women’s Title

Adamas Howrah Warriors clinched their maiden Bengal T20 League Women’s title after defeating Murshidabad Kueens by six wickets in the Season 3 final at the iconic Eden Gardens on Monday.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Murshidabad Kueens struggled to build momentum as the Howrah bowlers kept striking at regular intervals. The batting side never managed to stitch together a substantial partnership and eventually posted a modest total of 95/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Kashish Agarwal emerged as the top scorer for Murshidabad with 21 runs, while the rest of the batting lineup found it difficult to accelerate against a disciplined bowling attack.

Howrah’s bowlers delivered a collective effort, with Chandrima Ghoshal leading the way with figures of 2/15. Disha Chandak also impressed, picking up 2/20, while Remondina Khatun (1/9), Sreyoshi Aich (1/17), and Srilekha Roy (1/14) chipped in with crucial wickets to keep Murshidabad under pressure throughout the innings.

Chasing 96 for victory, Adamas Howrah Warriors approached the target with composure despite losing a few wickets along the way. Priyanka Prasad scored 29 runs, while Sujata Dey contributed 27. Srilekha Roy remained unbeaten on 15 to guide her side home at 96/4 in 18.5 overs, sealing a historic title triumph for Howrah. Murshidabad bowlers Tanushree Sarkar and Prativa Rana picked up a wicket each in the chase.
