CBFC stopped Shane Nigam’s film ‘Haal’ from being certified by suggesting 15 changes, including the beef biryani scene and the flag salute. The makers objected and approached the Kerala High Court.
Shane Aigam Haal Movie CBFC Beef Biryani Scene:: The censor board has objection to actor Shane Nigam’s upcoming romantic drama film ‘Haal’. Changes have been asked not in one or two scenes, but in 15 places. This also includes the scene in which the characters are seen eating beef biryani in the film.
Censor Board objects to flag salutation, beef biryani scene
According to the film’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), CBFC has advised the film maker to remove 15 scenes. Which includes scenes of flag salutation, Sangham Kaval Und and eating beef biryani.
However, according to the film’s PRO, the makers have denied the idea of eating beef biryani in the film and termed it as a mere speculation about the scene by the CBFC. If the film maker implements the suggestions given, it is expected to get an “A” certificate from the Censor Board. At present, the producers have approached the Kerala High Court against the decision of the Censor Board. According to the film’s PRO, the CBFC had its first preview of the film on September 10.
Why was the recent release date extended?
Shane starrer Haal movie is directed by Veera and written by Nishad K Koya. Apart from Shane, the film also stars Sakshi Vaidya and Johnny Antony in lead roles. Earlier, the film maker had postponed the release date of the movie to avoid clash with Shane’s other film Balti.

The official production banner of the film, JVJ Productions, had shared the news of the postponement of the release date on its Instagram handle earlier this month. The film was scheduled to release on Friday.
