The ongoing deadlock over the Asia Cup trophy has now ended. Recently an important conversation took place between the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Mohsin Naqvi, President of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Asian Cricket Council (ACC). This conversation took place informally during the International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting, which was mediated by an ICC official. During this discussion, both sides expressed their views, due to which the deadlock ended and a positive solution emerged. Devjit Saikia has confirmed that this matter has now been resolved. BCCI’s Jay Shah also showed maturity in this entire process.
