It has been decided which stars of the Indian cricket team will get how much money this year. Like every year, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken a decision on the central contracts for the new season. According to a report, the Indian Board has finalized the names of 30 players for the current international season, in which the most important decision has been taken regarding former captains, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Kohli and Rohit have been demoted from A+ grade and pushed straight to B grade. As was being claimed, BCCI has abolished A+ grades and now there will be only 3 grades – A, B, C.
It was being discussed for some time that this time BCCI will reduce the central contract from 4 to only 3 grades. It was also being said that Rohit-Kohli will no longer be a part of the top grade because both are players of only one format (ODI). Board Secretary Devjit Saikia himself had also confirmed this. However, at present BCCI has not released this list officially.
