According to PTI reporter Kushan Sarkar, ICC wants the players of India and Pakistan U19 teams (India vs Pakistan U19 Asia Cup) to shake hands with each other during the match to be held on December 14. According to reports, both the teams may have to join hands as politics is not a good thing at the junior level.

However, it is also being said that the final decision on this has to be taken by BCCI. If team manager Anand Datar and head coach Hrishikesh Kanitkar take a decision, then only the handshake will happen otherwise both the teams will not meet each other properly after sharing the field once again.

Tournament starting from 12th December

Let us tell you that the ACC Under-19 Men’s Asia Cup 2025 is going to start from December 12 and in its first match, India Under-19 team is going to face UAE Under-19 team. The final match of this tournament will be played on Sunday 21st December. This is going to be a 50 over tournament and India-Pakistan clash will be seen in the fifth match on Sunday, 14th December. This match will be played at ICC Academy Ground, Dubai.
