Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released the first list of 71 candidates for the Bihar Assembly elections. After the release of the list, the tone of rebellion within the party has intensified. After the ticket of sitting MLA and former minister Ramsurat Rai was cut from Aurai Assembly seat of Muzaffarpur, supporters reached the BJP state office in Patna and demonstrated vigorously. Meanwhile, MLA supporters are raising slogans of ‘Give ticket to Ramsurat Rai’ and demanding reconsideration of the decision from the party leadership.
