The medical team of Max Super Specialty Hospital, Dwarka considered it deeply and then decided to open surgery. In this operation, the affected Ovri and fallopian tube along with the tumor also had to be removed. During the surgery, doctors took care that the tumor does not torn and there was unnecessary pressure on the uterus. This was the reason that there was no harm to the baby.
What did the doctors say?

Such a large size ovary tumor is uncommon in pregnancy and it was a very accurate task. This case is an example that it may be possible to impossible with investigation and modern medical care at the right time.

Health of woman and child
Three days after the surgery, the woman was discharged from the hospital. The investigation found that the tumor was ovary sarcoma, but it was not spread anywhere else in the body. The woman completed pregnancy and gave birth to a healthy child when the time came.
Why is this matter important?
Usually during pregnancy, doctors try to avoid large operations so that the baby does not suffer any harm. But if the tumor was not removed in this case, then it could have become a threat to the mother’s life. Doctors saved both mother and child’s life by surgery at the right time. The case suggests that even in pregnancy, if there is proper investigation and treatment in time, serious conditions can be handled.
