In 2020 Barh Assembly elections, BJP candidate Gyanendra Kumar Singh (Gyanu) won. He secured 49,327 votes and defeated Congress candidate Satyendra Bahadur.

2015 elections: BJP vs JDU clash

In 2015, BJP’s Gyanendra Kumar Singh once again won the Barh seat.

  • Manoj Kumar (JDU) – 55,630 votes
  • Margin of victory – 8,359 votes

Note: This election saw a direct contest between BJP and JDU.

2010 elections: JDU’s dominance

In 2010, JDU candidate Gyanendra Kumar Singh had won here.

  • Vijay Krishna (RJD)- 33,734 votes
  • Margin of victory – 19,395 votes
