Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh): After nine years of love, a woman murdered her husband within two months of marriage. Police found that the death of 33-year-old Jitendra Kumar Yadav, who was living on rent in Izzatnagar, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, was a murder. Police have arrested wife Jyoti in this case. On January 26, the body of Jitendra Kumar Yadav was found hanging from the window of his rented house. Earlier the police were also considering it as suicide. But in the post-mortem report, the cause of death was stated to be suffocation, after which this brutal murder was revealed.

After this, police investigation revealed that Jitendra was murdered by his wife Jyoti and her family members. According to the information, after a few weeks of marriage, big fights started between the two regarding money. Jitendra used to invest money in online gambling. After 9 years of love, both of them got married on 25 November. Soon after the marriage, Jitendra withdrew Rs 20,000 from Jyoti’s bank account and invested it in online gambling, but he lost the money. After this, the fight between the two increased over money. On the day of the incident, January 26, the fight that started over money escalated. After this Jyoti informed her family about this.
That same night, Jyoti’s parents and brother reached the rented house where the husband and wife lived. During the argument, Jyoti’s father Kalicharan, mother Chameli and brother Deepak together catch Jitendra. Meanwhile, Jyoti strangled her husband to death. Police said that after Jitendra’s death, Jyoti and her family tried to make it look like suicide by hanging the body on the window with a shawl. To convince the neighbours, Jyoti started crying and creating ruckus, saying that her husband had committed suicide.
Jitendra’s brother Ajay Kumar lodged a complaint raising suspicion over the death, after which the body was sent for post-mortem. After this, police investigation revealed the murder. During police interrogation, Jyoti confessed to her crime. After this the investigation team arrested Jyoti and her parents. Police said that after the murder was revealed, the search for absconding brother Deepak is going on and he will be caught soon.
