A chartered Learjet 45 carrying Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar crashed near Baramati Airport on January 28, 2026, killing all five on board. Among the victims were pilots Shambhavi Pathak and Sumit Kapoor. DGCA confirmed the crash as AAIB launched a detailed probe into the tragedy.
