Barabanki Kidnapping Case: The kidnapping of a 12 year old girl in Haidergarh, Barabanki created a sensation. A very shocking incident has come to light from Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. In broad daylight, miscreants kidnapped a 12-year-old girl who was playing outside her house in Haidergarh town. After some time, the miscreants made a video call to the girl’s father on WhatsApp and threatened him in such a way that the entire family was in panic. The father says that on the call, the miscreants clearly said that if he complained to the police, they would slit his daughter’s throat and would show all this on the video call itself.
The girl was playing outside the house, suddenly disappeared
This case is of Lilhaura ward of Haidergarh town of Barabanki, which is just a few steps away from the police station. Nripendra Tiwari, who lives here, is a journalist by profession. In the complaint given to the police, he told that on Friday his 12 year old daughter was playing outside the house. After some time, when the girl was not seen, the family started searching nearby. Despite extensive research, no clue was found. After this the family feared kidnapping and informed the police.

“If we tell the police, we will slit our daughter’s throat.”
The matter did not end here. According to the girl’s father, after some time a WhatsApp video call came on his mobile. The callers identified themselves as the kidnappers of the girl. They threatened that if the police was informed, they would kill the girl over the video call itself. Not only this, to scare the miscreants also said that they will make the entire Haidergarh red with the blood of the girl. There was chaos in the family after hearing this threat.
Trying to get information about home on video call
According to the victim’s father, the miscreants also tried to get information about the house during the video call. He asked who was present in the house and what the family members were doing. However, despite the danger, the father showed courage and gave a written complaint at Haidergarh police station.
Protest of family members outside the police station
There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to the kidnapping of the girl. The girl’s family and local people are demanding immediate action from the police. Meanwhile, some members of the family staged a protest outside the police station and demanded the safe recovery of the girl soon.
WhatsApp call came from Dubai number
Haidergarh Kotwali Inspector Abhimanyu Mall said that the police have taken the matter seriously and have formed several teams. The footage of CCTV cameras installed in the town is being scrutinized to find clues about the kidnappers. Police investigation has also revealed that the WhatsApp call received by the victim’s father was from a Dubai number. At present that number has been put on surveillance.
Police say that on the basis of technical investigation and CCTV footage, efforts are being made to reach the accused soon and every possible effort is being made to recover the girl safely.
