September Bank Holiday 2025: Banks will remain closed for two consecutive days in some states this month. If you have to do any bank work during this time, then first it is necessary to see whether banks will open or closed in your city. On September 4, due to the festival of Onam, banks will remain closed in many cities, including Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. At the same time, banks will be close in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad due to Eid-e-Milad on 5 September.

Apart from this, banks will be closed in Jammu, Raipur, Srinagar and Gangtok on 6 September due to Eid-e-Milad. On September 12, banks will remain closed due to the festival in Jammu and Srinagar. Due to the establishment of Navratri on 22 September, banks will be close in Jaipur, while on September 23, banks will be closed in Jammu and Srinagar due to Maharaja Hari Singh Jayanti. On September 29, banks will remain closed in many cities like Kolkata, Patna, Guwahati, Agartala and Bhubaneswar due to Durga Ashtami.

Complete bank work during holiday
If you want to do any necessary work related to the bank on holiday, then you can use the online platform. If you want to do any work in the bank between 4 or 5 September, then settle it in advance. Digital banking services like UPI, NEFT, RTGS and mobile banking apps will continue to work during the holidays. Apart from this, withdrawing or depositing money through ATMs will also be available for 24 hours.
